We had an incredible spring storm move through the area last night. The sky was spectacular, but way too dark to make a good image. The next day, however, really brought another wonderful scene in southwest Iowa. This view, one that I call Heartland Highway, is looking to the southeast, hours after last night’s show had moved through the area.

After what seemed like an eternal winter, things are taking a turn for the better in the heartland. Wherever one looks, there is a real feeling that we are in for some much better weather. With the change in climate comes the inevitable move back to the land. Here’s to all who help turn harvest dreams in the spring into harvest realities in the fall.
