Sometimes, abstract images are fun to work with. This image, for example, come from the simple act of getting closer to what really matters.

Together
One thing I learned quickly when shooting a group of hot air balloons is that it is not easy making a unique image. The colors are fabulous. The moments are a real joy to capture. And with a bit of luck, one can come up with something different. Hopefully that is what I managed to do with this image. One balloon or more, they are all are a joy to photograph when they are together.
Fire Fly
After a week-long effort, I have finished working on my hot air balloon collection. The final count is 14. As always, this took much more time and energy than I imagined. But now, for the fun part. Here is the third image in my collection, one that I call Fire Fly. The name is a bit vague, until you see the burner glowing just above the pilot’s head. Here is my latest, with more to come soon.
Silent Runing
People often ask me where do I get my titles for my images. Truth be told, the titles sometimes come quickly and at other times, very slowly. Here is one of the quick title images. If you look at the cloud that looks like a critter running across the road and combine this with the fact that the railroad sign has no words, you will hopefully see why I call this image, Silent Running. And for the curious, I captured this image in a rural area in southwest Canada.
